Week 13: Window Trim

Stephen trimmed out the windows with 2"X6" and 2"X4" treated pine. He had considered cedar, but decided against it because the chance of getting long enough pieces in excellent condition was unlikely at best, and cost prohibitive at worst. This means we will not be able to paint the trim until next year.

Week Twelve: Windows and Cornice Returns

We finished putting in the windows on week twelve. Stephen also built cornice returns on the gable ends, so that the cornice trim will wrap slightly on the ends.

Week Eleven: House Wrap

This week, we put house wrap over the sheathing. Stephen took off Monday so we'd have some extra time.

Week Ten: Sheathing

The roofers came Monday after week nine, and charged us an extra $600 becuase we forgot to tell them the roof was on the second story.
